To give you the best chance of getting hired in every sales meeting, we recommend updating your Sample Albums every year. We know that sample albums can get expensive (even with the Zookbinders sample album price of 50%), especially if you’re working with multiple vendors, and have multiple cover options to show.
So here’s a tip: If you’d like to make ONE album and show TWO different covers, we can make you a “Sample Half Cover” saving you the cost (and work) of an entire sample! For example, if you like our contemporary Reflectionz or Leather Spine cover, and want something even more contemporary like a Splash cover, we can make a Half Cover of the Splash. We charge a flat fee of $50 for ANY Half Cover and usually make them as 12×12’s.
These are a little tricky to order, so it’s best to give Sales Support a call when you’re ready to order this. We can even design a cover for your free of charge.

Order Samples For Vendors That Refer You – If you have relationships with venues that refer you, offer to supply them with a free sample album that shows off their venue, and your work. Be sure to include the venue name and your name on the album’s cover. Samples for partner vendors are available at 50% off and generally have fewer pages than an album that you would show to future clients. We recommend smaller sizes (10×10, not 12×12), and NOT using the Wraparound Covers as albums with leather will wear better over time than albums with a full image wrap.
Don’t Forget Parent Albums – Be sure to order a set of sample parent albums. Our best-selling package of (2) 6×6 PhotoBooks start at just $135 – if you show them, you’ll sell them. Most photographers mark them up 2X so you can make an additional $100-$200 on every set you sell.
Update Sample Albums on Your Website – If you’re not showing full album designs on your site, we can help! You can download ANY of the album designs we create to post on your website and Facebook page. Call our Sales Team at 800-810-5745 if you need help with this.
