Custom business cards can be created from a senior shoot as a way for the senior to give away a few extra pictures to her friends, and a way for you to advertise to each person she gives a card to. After the shoot, create a small amount of cards from the best image, to give to the senior for free, allowing for them to do the marketing for you. Of course this idea doesn’t have to only be for seniors either.

Want to get noticed at a popular wedding venue? Create a few sample wedding albums, along with extra business cards and drop them off at local venues in your area. A lot of times brides ask for recommendations, and venues will happily show them your book.

Attend a wedding fair. Setting up a booth at a wedding fair is sure to get you noticed. Make sure to show of your best prints and albums to give these potential clients a good idea of your style. Wedding fairs are a great place to get noticed, and many of them offer inexpensive booth rentals.

Charity shoots are another great option. You can donate your services at a local event, in return for being able to hand out business cards or brochures. This may also be a great place to handout something for that giveaway!
