For Wraparound photo covers:
Wraparound photo covers can be created either with the easy drag and drop, print-to-bind templates available for download below OR, create more dynamic looking, custom covers by following the step-by-step Photoshop instructions posted on our blog.
Using the print-to-bind template ensures the correct image size and the elements appearing within the noted "safe" areas will not be lost to the wrap areas or spine of the book regardless of size, large or small, listed for that template. Custom made covers will have a larger area in which to design as it will be specific to one book size and a given number of pages. Once designed, however, a cover created for a 10x10 PhotoBook Plus will likely NOT work for a 4x4 PhotoBook Package cover due to ratios involved.
For Leather back and spine covers:
These covers have a laminated image mounted on a smooth Masonite substrate. Leather back and spine butts up seamlessly to the cover image. Crop cover image to the dimension below keeping important elements at least 1/2 inch away from the edge of the frame (top, bottom and right sides) to allow for image wrap.
